I’ve never been ‘good’ at writing about myself, most of the time I just open my mouth and my life story falls out on the sidewalk.  It’s a blessing and a curse depending on who is on the receiving end of my relentless chatter.

I guess, a little backstory on me is in order?  Well, I have been working and playing online since the mid 1990’s. Building websites on sites like Geocities ( for those of you who remember that dinosaur.) and consider myself pretty well versed in the how and what to do to create a decent looking website.

Am I an expert? By no means.  Can I put together something that looks good and ranks well in the search engines? Well, that I guess is a matter of perspective.  I have created several sites that do rank for my keywords, and have had some success with affiliate marketing, but I still consider myself a bit of a rookie when it comes to making money online.  You won’t hear me touting 6 figure payouts, or making a million overnight.  I don’t believe those claims half the time and neither should you.

Marketers who make those claims are generally making their money by selling you something they claim will do the same for you – overnight. I’m sorry, but it takes a lot of time and there is a huge learning curve to marketing anything online.  And the competition is getting more and more fierce.

I have come across some successful marketers that I trust wholeheartedly, and have learned everything I can from them. Some I have bought products from, others I just keep up with their blogs and grab whatever information I can that they offer up for free.

You see, I am a stay at home Mom, with a husband who is going to be medically retired by the end of this year, and income is going to be much more important for me than it has been in the past.  We have many questions about how we will survive, and if his pension will be enough to pay our bills.

So I am relaunching this blog, and sharing with you some of the tips and information that I have garnered over the years of my hobby of online work in blogging, affiliate marketing and content marketing.  Over time as the site grows, hopefully I will be able to share more of my own successes with you and pass them along so that maybe you too can find your stay at home income to help you through the rough times ahead in this crazy and unpredictable economy.
